Family Violence Counselling

Surviving family violence or an abusive relationship can leave you doubting your own reality. You might find yourself constantly adjusting how you act just to keep the peace, or feeling completely disconnected from who you are.

This space is for anyone who has experienced coercive control, emotional manipulation, or physical violence from a partner or family member. Sometimes, the hardest part is simply naming what happened. Even if you find yourself wondering whether what you went through was “bad enough” to count, your experience matters.

Feeling exhausted, confused, or drained is a completely natural response to this kind of stress. When so much of your energy goes into managing an unsafe environment, life often shrinks down to just getting through each day.

In our sessions, I will never judge your choices, tell you what to do, or push you to make sudden decisions. Instead, we will work at your pace to unpack the confusion and rebuild trust in your own instincts so you can feel grounded again.

You have put an immense amount of energy into managing someone else’s behavior. You deserve support that focuses entirely on your needs.

Let’s connect to see how we can begin this work together.
